This Scott Atwater 1953 Gold Pennant, is my latest restoration has all serials matching, I have used it on San Diego Bay, very good old motor.
This model was only made on 1953 (one year only edition), 1953, Scott produced the Gold Pennant 7.5 HP and 10 hp motors. The Gold Pennant motors were designed to be a nice fast and small motor body with a big punch for the package, these motors were designed to use a remote fuel tanks and a real fuel pump (this was when most of the competition was using pressurized tanks).
The styling of the Gold Pennant were ahead of its time for those days, do not forget that Scott atwater were hand and hand with the biggest motor builders of their time.
It's a 1953 Gold Pennant (3335) 7.5 HP - Serial Number 6252
